Water contamination is a major problem all around the world, including India. The effects of this contamination on people’s health are serious. These health hazards and poor water quality often affect the development and economy of the region.
One of the major water contaminants is fluoride, which affects approximately 200 million people globally. This contamination is higher predominantly in semi-urban and rural areas. Till date, defluorinated water at the community level in such outreach areas has not been made possible due to its high cost and complex treatment processes.
Drumlins has developed an innovative technology that addresses the fluoride contamination problem. This technology can be implemented at the community level in a cost effective and sustainable manner. Furthermore, our technology has been enhanced to eliminate other heavy metals and bacteria from water, making it clean and safe for everyone.
